1.
For quite some time
I’ve wandered and I’ve wondered
What will become of me?
Will time just take me
Hitherto and yonder
What love will I ever see?

But now I know why
Everything had happened
For it was plainly true
That in spite of my
Incessant supplication
He waited to give me you!

(Chorus):
     You know I’d love to give you anything
     But I can only give what’s mine
     So we love the Lover God of everything
     Because you’re His, you’re mine.

As our life starts
To gather love together
Remember just one thing
Without His love
It doesn’t really matter
No truth will our words bring

But we know now
That even if we’re empty
Love can be made new
An injured jar
Can be mended very simply
That’s why He gave me you!

If ever I have
Nothing left to give you
If e’er my strength is gone
Then worry not
For He will always be true
And love will carry on

And as you start
To know Him as your Lover
My strength will return to me
In full supply I
Think you will discover
