I want to hear the truth
So I want to hear You
I want to speak the truth
So I speak of You
I want to know the truth
So I come to know You
And by losing all I wanted
I’ve gained all I needed

So thanks be to God
Who in triumph leads us on!
And spreads to every place
The aroma of His grace
To know Him.

To know You is to know peace
For without You there is no peace
Speak to me the truth
Of the knowledge of You
Let it fill my hollows
Until all else follows!
