What The Flag Means To Me

Every day our people live
In luxurious liberty
They work, they play, they laugh, they love
--This is what the flag means to me.

Each star upon that deep Blue field
Pure White for Unity
It cost the Red that I've seen spilled
--This is what the flag means to me.

Over two centuries we've shown the world
What it means to live so free
We give our lives to show them all
--That this is what the flag means to me.

This is why I stand up proud
And salute as it passes me
To tell the world, and shout it loud:
--"This is what the flag means to me!"
